I do love to trade Artit Trade Cards (ATC)!
I just got this passion for ATC nearly one year ago and I am addicted to trade.
For those who doesn´t know what ATC is all about please allow me to explain:
Artist trading cards (or ATCs) are miniature works of art (2 1/2 inch by 3 1/2inch or 63mm x 89mm) some kind of artist basketball cards you swap / trade around the world.
This Cards are produced in various media, including dry media (pencils, pens, markers, etc.), wet media (watercolor, acrylic paints, etc.), paper media (in the form of collage, papercuts, found objects, etc.) or even metals, cloth and any textures. There is no limit!
The simple way to trade this work of art is to join a Trade Platform such as
Flickr or AFA or FwATCs (mainly German) just to name a few.
So here are my two ATCs I have done for a open Swap on AFA.
And Marilou I mail them today!

Beautiful ATC's...I love the metal look of the first one! The bronze is striking and love the gears!!! About your question...there was no embossing at all. Follow the link to a video that shows how I created the background using Dylusions. Thanks for the question!
